φ220/250 hollow core insulator is composed of an FRP core rod, silicone rubber umbrella sleeve, end metal attachment, and other main components. Its insulating part consists of a sheath injected with silicone rubber on the mandrel and multiple umbrella skirts. The end fittings are mechanically connected with the FRP core rod through the crimping process structure, so as to realize the convenient connection with the overhead line fitting and bear the mechanical load together with the FRP core rod, while FRP also plays an internal insulation role.
